Against The Odds tells the amazing story of Dr. Emad Rahim, a survivor of the Cambodian Killings Fields. Dr. Rahim overcame a lot of adversity, from losing his older brother and father in a concentration camp in Cambodia, surviving an abusive household, engaging in gang activity and struggling with a learning disability, to becoming an award winning educator, author, entrepreneur, and community leader. Dr. Rahim hopes his story empowers and motivates young people to complete their education and fulfill their personal goals career aspiration. He currently serves as the University Dean for the School of Business and Management at Colorado Technical University.
